Married By Mariella, LLC ("we", "us") plans weddings and events in Lakeland, Florida. This notice explains what personal information we collect when you visit marriedbymariella.com, book a call with us or become a client, how we use it, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you book a consultation: your name, email address and phone number, the email addresses of anyone you invite to join the call, whether you have a wedding date and a budget in mind, the services you're interested in, how you heard about us, and whether you'd like to meet by phone or video. Bookings are made through Calendly for now, and through our client and booking system once our booking moves there.

When you become a client: what we need to plan your day, such as contact details for you and your partner, your event date, venue and package, notes from our calls, your contract and signatures, your invoices and payments, and the team members assigned to your wedding.

When you pay: card and bank payments are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects your payment details directly, so we never see or store your full card or bank account number. We record what you paid and when. If you pay another way, such as Zelle, Cash App or Venmo, we record that payment too.

When you browse our site: basic technical information such as your IP address, your browser and the pages you visit (see "Cookies and analytics" below).

When you contact us: anything you choose to tell us by email, phone or social media message.

We don't ask for sensitive details such as health information, so please leave them out of our forms.

Your photos and your story

Your wedding photos and your love story are yours. We share them on our website, on social media or anywhere else only with your permission, and only in the way you agree to. If your wedding is featured on our website or social media and you'd like something changed or taken down, email us and we'll take care of it.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing. We share it only with:

Our team: Mariella and the coordinators working on your wedding.
Service providers who run our website and tools for us and may use your information only to provide their service: website hosting (Amazon Web Services), our client and booking system (MOSAIC, which TRONXR runs for us), consultation booking (Calendly, until our booking moves to MOSAIC), payments (Stripe), video calls (Zoom), email (Gmail, from Google), and website analytics (Google).
Your wedding vendors: only what they need for your event, when we coordinate with them for you.
Others when the law requires it, or when needed to protect our rights or someone's safety.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics to see which pages are visited and how people find our site. It uses cookies and collects information such as your device, your approximate location and the pages you visit. Google handles this information under its own privacy policy, and you can opt out with Google's opt-out browser add-on.

We don't use advertising trackers on our site. Our site doesn't respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals, because there is no common standard for them yet.

Emails

We'll email you about your consultation, your contract, your payments and your event. We don't send newsletters or marketing text messages.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as we need it to work with you, and longer only where the law requires us to keep business and tax records. After that, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

How we protect it

We keep your information in secure systems with limited access, and each member of our team sees only what they need for their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information, and we'll let you know if a security problem affects it, as the law requires.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

send you a copy of the information we hold about you
correct anything that's wrong
delete your information, unless we need to keep it for a contract or by law

Children

Our services are for adults planning weddings and events. Our site isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Links to other sites

Our site links to other sites, such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and our review pages. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
